Introduction ambience

Like a hidden gem in the heart of Hội An, LAM preserves its own distinctive charm through a contemporary design that seamlessly blends nature, art, and the architectural character of the Quảng Nam region.

Whether indoors or outdoors, LAM’s space is immersed in the peaceful presence of nature. The picturesque view of vast rice fields is further enhanced by natural light, softened by the lush greenery of a small garden along the breezy veranda. Touches of nostalgia are evoked through colourful fencing made from vintage-style iron window frames, reminiscent of old Vietnamese homes.

Notably, LAM is also adorned with a collection of art lamps by visual artist Nguyễn Đức Phương. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from traditional dó paper, inspired by the familiar farming and fishing tools found in the daily life of local people.

At LAM, you can truly feel the unique beauty of natural light at every moment of the day. With walls and ceilings crafted from glass and refined natural wood, sunlight becomes a spontaneous and gentle element -  adding a luminous highlight to the entire space.

Uniqueness of local ingredients

At LAM Kitchen, every flavour is born from boundless inspiration and deeply rooted in local ingredients. Our chefs are dedicated to actively sourcing and selecting only the freshest produce and spices from the rich, fertile land of Hội An. This includes a variety of aromatic herbs from the renowned Trà Quế vegetable village, freshly caught seafood delivered daily, and clean, fragrant rice cultivated in LAM’s own fields.

We believe that in the hands of our skilled chefs, these humble and familiar ingredients are elevated with care and refinement - bringing diners a refreshing culinary experience where each dish is not only flavourful and wholesome, but also tells a heartfelt story of the people, the land, and the ever-changing seasons of our homeland.

Fragrant grains, carefully cultivated in LAM’s own fields, are cooked and dried for a set period, then crisped to perfection and served with a signature sauce crafted exclusively by LAM’s culinary team.

In addition, the “Fish of the Day” is a delightful surprise curated by LAM’s Head Chef and offered to guests during favourable weather. Each early morning, he visits the local market to handpick the freshest fish, combining it with local herbs and spices to create a unique dish that promises a new and memorable culinary experience.

Beef lovers will find it hard to resist the slow-cooked Australian beef, prepared in a European style and subtly infused with Vietnamese flavours. It is served with LAM’s special soy-based sauce and fresh herbs from the Trà Quế vegetable village.
