It was one of those slow afternoons, when Lam welcomed dear guests to gather and craft leather journals together under the gentle sunlight pouring over the green rice fields in front.

Inside Lam’s rustic house, everyone sat side by side, threads moving patiently through their fingertips, stitching layers of genuine leather and six thick paper sections as if weaving all the calm of an afternoon into a small notebook.

Each page carried the texture of time, each stitch a quiet rhythm of focus and ease. The room was filled with soft chatter, the faint scent of leather, and the subtle creak of wooden chairs on terracotta floors all blending into a kind of stillness only found in places that know how to slow down.

The keepsake to take home was a sturdy leather journal simple, timeless, and made by hand. But what lingered longer were the soft laughs, the warm exchange of stories between strangers who felt like old friends, and the quiet joy of creating something truly one’s own.

More slow, handcrafted afternoons await at Lam. Follow along, and we’ll meet again in the workshops to come.
