Workshop Recap: “Suncatcher – Pieces of Memory in Light”

Each workshop at Lam is like a small piece of memory being gently rewoven through quiet laughter, soft sunlight, and the shared joy of making something by hand.
On the afternoon of July 22, the Suncatcher Workshop with Phoenicia Studio unfolded at Lam, bathed in golden light and the slow rhythm of Hội An’s rice fields serene, tender, and full of warmth.
That afternoon, everyone gathered, unhurried.
Each chosen shape a crane, a boat, or a paper plane eflected a corner of someone’s childhood once folded, once set free, once quietly kept. Now, those memories found their way back through the shimmer of glass, beneath the gentle light of the setting sun.
By the calm breath of green fields, grown-ups worked carefully, children watched with focus, and even time itself seemed to pause by the porch.
As the workshop came to a close, each guest took home a finished Suncatcher a delicate keepsake holding a few strands of sunlight and a trace of tenderness.
LAM is honored to hold that afternoon close, like a newly named piece of memory.
